MAIN PROPERTIES
When consumed safely, lemon essential oil can help with:
Digestion: Helps detoxify the body, support liver function, and relieve nausea or indigestion.
Immune: Provides antioxidant protection and boosts the body's natural defenses.
Metabolism: Often used in detoxification and weight loss programs.
COOKING AND CONFECTIONERY
Lemon essential oil can replace lemon zest or juice, providing a clean flavor without the texture of the peel.
Sweets: Add 1-2 drops to cakes, muffins, cookies, creams, or ice cream.
Savory: Ideal for marinades (chicken, fish), sauces, salad dressings, and risotto.
Beverages: One drop in water, tea, smoothies or cocktails offers a refreshing taste.
Correspondence: 1/8 teaspoon of essential oil corresponds to approximately 1 tablespoon of lemon zest.
DIRECTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
Dose: Due to the high concentration, 1-2 drops are usually enough. Never consume it undiluted.
Dilution: Always dilute it in a fatty medium (e.g. olive oil), honey or a large amount of liquid to avoid irritation in the mouth and stomach.
Contraindications: Avoid use in children under 6 years of age and consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Photosensitivity: If used topically on the skin, avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours.
In Water: The typical ratio is 1 drop per 120-250ml of liquid. Because the oil does not dissolve in water and floats, it is necessary to stir well before each sip to avoid irritation of the mucous membranes.
ATTENTION TO SAFETY
Utensil: Use only glass or ceramic utensil, as lemon oil corrodes plastic.
Frequency: Do not use continuously for more than 2-3 weeks without a break.
Note: Before any use for therapeutic purposes, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
